Are Emperor's record label still proudcing their albums? I am surprised how hard to track down their material is on various sites.

I presume they are, because a band of their status is bound to be in constant demand - I've found them at places like The End Records, but not as much as I would have expected for a band of their reputation and fame in the metal community.

I can occasionally, but only a very selected few and not their older stuff.

I guess my question shouldn't have been 'are they still produced' (because it's pretty obvious that they are), but rather - are they rare or something? the older material in paerticular?

i cant imagine one of the most important bands in extreme metal going out of print. they are essential!!! i know for sure amazon.com has em. also try the end records

Dude, I live in the UK, and I haven't had any problem tracking down Emperor albums. Hell, I can walk into Virgin fucking Records and pick up Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk.

Well...meh.

I haven't exactly been searching for ages, but places like Virgin, and even a local specialised store don't have anything apart from the occasional copy of their later records (promethues, etc.)

Maybe they're just constantly sold out! :P

Well, I guess I'll just have to have a proper look!
