it wasnt clear, and I took it as her speaking musically. She has the right to her opinion of him... but that has nothing to do with me. And if some chick who probably isn't even a musician has a right to an opinion (and she certainly does), myself or my guitarist sure as hell do too. everyone with ears does. and this thread seems to be about letting everyones opinion be heard. that is all I was trying to get across.

We finished recording the demo about a week ago now, and just put this up yesterday. Not quite sure how to describe the style, I guess it's Black/Death metal mixed with something else.

I like this, the production is pretty clean and mixed very well... you can hear the bass. The guitars and drums sound out of time with each other A LOT though. I would really work on getting things a lot tighter for your next demo. However, there are some creative/cool riffs in there. Also, I really dig the vocals for this style. Maybe you should think about getting a keyboardist or second guitarist though, because in some spaces the music sounded "sparce", and could use some more instrumentation to fill out the sound and keep things interesting. Keep up the good work though.

This really is going to be underground, a one person project that will be ended in a few weeks making the music even more underground.

No Patton vocals. I play the drums and our singer prefers the cokie-monster stuff, although he does have his own style and switches registers often. When I do occasional clean vocals, I opt more for the Akerfeldt style. We only do clean on ballads.
