I still have boxes that haven't been touched since I moved almost two years ago, and I always find something interesting in them... apparently I went 20 years without knowing that I own recorded material by William Shatner.

I've lost so many copies of Maiden's Powerslave, I'm afraid to put it on my ipod cause I'm afraid I'll lose the whole ipod.

Effigy was one I could have easily stolen from a radio show I worked at in college, but put it back like a good boy, only to see it in a blowout sale they had like 2 weeks later.

I had a terrible habit of stacking one CD on top of another (in the wrong case) when I was in a hurry to swap discs in my car. Every so often I would have a pile of like 30 CD cases in my car and I would just take them all in and put them back on the shelf without even looking at them. I was always pulling out what I wanted to listen to and it wasn't in the damn case. I'd open 300 other cases without finding it and then I'd just walk out of the room cursing.

I just listen to my ipod now.

I've done the same exact thing many, many times.

I once lost "The Great Cold Distance" for about 3 months because they somehow made it look blacker than every other black cd. It blended in so well with the color of my cd binder that I put a different Katatonia cd over the top of it without even noticing :p
