Arjen Lucassen unveils new project: Guilt Machine

I've listened to this twice now and just can't get into it. I had a hard time getting through it the second time - thought it was pretty boring. I'm a big fan of Arjen's, but for some reason this disc just isn't clicking.

I'd have to agree. I know part of it must have been my high expectations, but the album itself just lacks the brilliance of "Human Equation" and "Into the Electric Castle."

However, I really thought his choice of singer was a good one. So that was definitely a plus to the album.

Bumped this from a long while ago (2009) as a friend turned me on to this recently, and it is striking a nice chord with me today. Had not really listened to much Arjen back then (or really even now), but it's pretty cool. I like the singer, Jasper Steverlinck. Real smooth.
