Cats may transmit many diseases. But I wouldn't kill cats in my yard for that reason. My dog keeps them alive. I wouldn't kill not even a rat (they transmit black death) until it is a problem or a huge infestation.
I readed an article that said american people is afraid of many things, roddents, diseases, end of the world, tornados, neighbours, southamericans, muslims... always alarmed and sleeping with a gun under the pillow.
Reading this thread I believe that it can be true.
well, i "readed" an article that europeans think they know everything about what americans do "wrong" and how they
should be doing it... always alarmed about how americans behave.
reading your post, i believe that it can be true.
yeah... your little story you read was full of shit... there are huge segments of every population in the world with those types of fears and others.... what's your point? that you read a biased article? good for you.
i read a story once that said people from the Basque Country are thought of as criminals, and another that said they wear bright coloured, gaudy clothing... should i believe them?
with all respect Jevo... you know nothing of life here, and armadillos are vermin. i leave them alone when i see them in the wild.. but on my property they cause damage (and that's not a "paranoia" or a fear of any type, it is a documented fact), and my only option, as has been covered 2 or 3 times in this thread, is to kill them. i'm sorry you don't like it, but it is the reality i have to deal with... trying to reduce it to some stereotypical, irrational response shows ignorance on your part, and is passive-aggressive behavior.
until you come and buy a house near mine and live here for a year, your opinion is hot air... spouted to make yourself feel superior and to seem to be of some more lofty moral character than me. get over it... it reeks of cheese.
