In case you didn't notice, the header was posted "O/T" aka "Off Topic".....and considering Bush was the LONGEST tenured singer Thrax ever had, it's not very far off topic.
Cheers people.
PS....Bush's shirt rules! Love Sanford & Son!
4 albums with Bush 4 albums with Belledonna.. and counting.
Lets have fun and rate the 4 albums during each era
ANTHRAX
1. Spreading The Disease 10/10. A classic metal album. Can certainly be in the top 100 thrash metal / metal albums of all time. Probably top 50
2. Among The living - 10/10. Hard to top Spreading the Disease but they did. One of the best Thrash Metal albums of all time.
3. State of Euphoria - 8/10. Great album. Not as complete as the previous 2 Belledonna era albums but still a great album that took Anthrax to another level
4. Persistence of Time - 10/10. One of the best metal albums of the 90's. One of the top 100 metal albums of all time.
BUSHTRHAX
1. Sound of White Noise - 7/10 - Definitely the best Bushthrax album. Was a departure from their Thrash metal roots into a more dark and grungy sound. A well written album but with many filler songs. Still a good all around album even if it is not a Thrash metal album and was a departure from the THRASH metal sound of previous albums
2. Stomp 424 - 2/10 - What a let down. Anthrax was goin in a new direction with SOWN. They should have at least followed that up with a nice Alice In Chains rip off instead of trying to go the Pantera sounding route. Horrible album for Anthrax's standards
3. Volume 8 - 1/10 the only reason it gets a 1 is because of the song "inside out". Even that song is nothing spectacular but at least it has a good vibe to it and sounds like a well written song. You would have thought with the horrible album sales and low concert attendence that they would have gone back into their Thrash direction but they continued to try and do a power groove Pantera rip of sound that completely ruined them. Just ask the 150 fans that would go see them in the small clubs
4. WCFYA - 3/10. Compared to the 2 previous albums this is a fucking masterpiece. But when compared to the classic era albums this is a joke. This is the best they can do? Well too bad the voices were spoken, labels had spoken and the band was forced to either disband or do a reunion tour to satisfy the fans needs. Thankfully the 3 previous "Anthrax" albums were so terrible that they were forced to bring back Joey and do a Thrash metal Anthrax album again. Sucks for Scott Ian, DMC, Vomit, Johnnie Czheck and a few others. But is great news for the rest of the Anthrax fans that wanted to puke during the BushThrax years.
Now what about the John Bush era again?
