I need a tube preamp, and I found this:

I'm really curious about the variable impedance knob....
What do you think about this product?

I've heard great things about it from people on here, and for only $100 more (don't know how much more in Euros) you can get the Digital MPA, which is the same thing but with SPDIF outputs, which is even more useful!

I have an Art digital MPA and I really like it. Great option especially since it is so cheap

I have an MPA gold. It's a decent pre as long as you change the original tubes which are really crappy. I mean, mine sounded like they were defective.
I switched them for 12at7's to keep the signal cleaner at higher gain settings. Worked fine.
I wasn't really interested in *that* tubey sound sound anyway but having an input impedance control is really useful. That's what make it interesting imo.

I just got an ART MPA Gold last month and I'm really diggin it, definitely better than the Presonus Bluetube I bought at the same time that seems to be getting trashed in that other thread haha

And I heard that it is only about hype, and that they have very shitty products So, try it yourself...
