im interested to buy the ART Pro VLA II compressor

What do you think about it guys?has anyone tried it for vocals/guitars/bass/drums?

Played around with one about a week ago, good for smoothing out harsh transients and taming hiss on guitars if you drive it hard enough, but you're not gonna get anything remotely 'Distressor' sounding out of it.

Was reading a thread over at gearslutz and a few people said they sound 10x better with the tubes changed. Anyone else chime in?
