So im using an art usb dual pre to reamp. Is there potentially anything dangerous with this? Im very new to reamping. The chain i got is out of an ouput of a tascam us-1641 into the art pre left channel then out of the art's left monitor out. Then into an amp. I dont know.....it seems to sound ok. No loss of volume. Only wird thing ive noticed is if i turn up the gain a little on the art i light up the clip light but it sounds fine with the gain all the way down. Am i gonna blow somthing up?

No, It`s OK if the sound fine and you do not get to much noise, maybe dedicated reamper will sound slightly different, that`s all.
Arts can be pain in the ass when dealing with level, so you should be careful with input gain, on Tube MP further adjustment can be performed with output level, on Dual Pre same function should provide Level knob on the back of device (where outputs resides).

Right on. Good to know i wont be damaging anything. Also thanks for the idea of using the nob on the back as an output level. I also have a maesto signal analizer that i tried but it seemed to get next to no level out unless it was turned up all the way to ten. And there was way too much dirty noise.

If there noise, than it`s a problem, I`m tried once Art Tube MP Studio as reamper device and it worked rather fine (at least slightly better than straight from interface).
But real reamper can provide you with transformer isolation, so ground loop can be broken, which reduces noise.
