Arthemis to Japan

Alessio. Andrea and the rest of the guys are heading out to Japan tomorrow for a short promo trip out there and a few shows!

It would be a cool thing for sure....Master of Illusion was not that well received in Japan compared to previous albums. I don't think they liked the more "modern" touches unfortunately

Have you only toured Power Quest around Europe, Steve? I'm surprised you haven't managed to take the Quest even to Japan, given how popular this music is there. Maybe the next album will get you going!

Europe is as far afield as we have gone so far I'm afraid.

Promoters are very reluctant to risk any money on smaller bands like ourselves these days...many trips like the Arthemis one are self funded in terms of actually getting out there.

I think if we were going to do an album that was 10 fast 200bpm songs then that would be just the thing for the Japanese market and similar territories........but we are not going to do that kind of album! lol!

Arthemis are genuinely underrated, though I have seen a lot more promotion for this latest album so I hope it all goes well for them out in the far east. Them folks do love their power metal
