Artmore to restrict courtyard access this year

Just an FYI. Did you guys notice these tweets from Glenn on August 9? I know its late news, but I only now noticed it & thought maybe some of you had not yet received it.


"Multiple new room types have opened up at the Artmore during the fest. this year. Only Artmore guests and band members will be allowed in the courtyard for the legendary parties this year. Hope to see a few of you out there."

What I don't know is if we can go to the bar, buy some beers, and then hang out in the courtyard with our Artmore purchased beers. Would that technically make us guests (just not overnight guests) of the Artmore? Could we slip into the party that way and stay for a little bit of time while we enjoy our Artmore purchased drinks?

Probably not able to do what you are suggesting. The Artmore had indicated that they will be checking everyone who attempts to enter to make sure they are guests of the hotel, so unlikely you'll even be allowed into the bar.

Somebody on FB asked Glenn/Jen "Is it close to sell out? Any chance to get back the entrance for everyone at the courtyard for parties?".
They answered "....no idea. Management gave us the impression a decision would be made the week of the festival...."

At least that is better new than a "no way, no how, never". We'll take a "maybe" over that any day.
