I'm just wondering whether those of you with titles registered actually feel "represented" by these organizations.
I know how they work and I know why I'm not seeing any money but that doesn't make me feel any better about almost no royalties in a year when we toured with Soilwork and shifted a small but significant number of albums.
I'm not saying I expect to get rich but with all of the negative stuff you read about record labels, I can honestly say that my experience with recording royalties is that they correspond to the reality of the sales and the contracts. Not so with performance rights.
So, any thoughts or experiences?
