ASIA 2010 U.S. tour… set list?

Dustin

C-C-Cool Beans!!!
I know this is probably an odd request… but has anyone out there had a chance to catch the Asia U.S 2010 tour? I was just curious if anyone has, and if you happen to know what there set list was.?

I just bought tickets to see the original line up in Wendover, NV (crossing off the bucket list!) and am taking my Dad to the concert. Long story short, no one... not even my wife, would go with me to see this show. However, my Pop's jumped on it! Never been to a concert with my Dad (except my own, which doesn't count.. bleh), so this could be interesting.

Anyhow, it's a two-hour drive to the venue, and I wanted to make a playlist of what they are performing (or might be performing) live, so he can get a little more familiar with their material. Don't get me wrong, My dad is quite versed in the bands "hits", but not so much with the album cuts or the new material from Omega or Phoenix.

Thanks in Advance!

This is correct. I saw them last week. Overall, a pretty dull 90 minute performance. I had never seen them before, so I was hoping for better. But sadly their music doesn't translate well to a live setting ... with a few exceptions like "Time Again" and "Sole Survivor". Without the layered vocals and production, the music sounds pretty flat, thin and boring.

The version of "Don't Cry" is acoustic with Wetton and Downes only. The one surprise was "Go". I can't stand the album version with the synth drums and pop melody. But live, they rocked it up enough to make it superior to the studio version.

I saw them last week. All the classics were there. Did not care much for the new material. The 'Holy War' song was giving me odd vibes, two songs later it was like praise music. I like Asia a lot but was not in the mood for the Jesuscrispy thing.
It was a very boring show too, although the band was great energy extremely lacked.
And Steve should fire his guitar tech for allowing him to sound that bad.

Saw them in Dallas and thought they put on a great show. Not as good as the reunion tour (with the dream setlist that also included songs from their other bands) but definately not boring. Wetton sounded fantastic and Carl Palmer is a beast! They seemed to be having a good time and seemed pleasantly surprised by the crowds response, especially to some of the newer stuff. That was the set list we saw, really surprised "Wildest Dreams" was omitted, but otherwise what you'd expect.
