You kept last night awoke just becuase you didn't knew what Lethe means????
this is your thread!!!!!!
Villain the Wise, the DT encyclopedist will answer you. It's time you fill up those DT questions never answered before!

fathervic (who once bowed at villains, and who constantly does!)

:D :D :D ;) :p ;) :D :D :D

as the matter of fact! I will just ask my first question to the MAN
which is the difference between the Japanesse and the Korean releases (apart from the place of release ;) )
I mean, I own the Korean ones, but seem not to fit with the same bonuses as the Japaneses release...
and the Korean ones are not listed in DT's homepage...soooo
any clue?¿¿?

(ah,2 posts in a row??? you're cheating :p)
nice thread :)
yup,Villain is wise and also has a unique way of explaying things...i still remember this opeth little story (why do you like opeth ,was the title i think)

I would like to see Villain writing his thoughts on the meaning of the song Lethe...in a poetic way of course :)

oh,well i hope i don't ask too much...

If I'm not mistaken, the Korean has Sacred Reich and Bringer of Torture?

The Japanese version has My Friend of Misery.

erm.........*not seeing "dr villain" * if this is the dr villain thread, where the fuck is dr villain! THIS WILL NOT STAND!

Dear doctor Villain,
it's been a couple of days I have some killing headache.
I tried with aspirins and natural-artificial remedies, no way - still I feel my sweet Lord of Headaches pumpin abuses on me.

What do you think I should do?

Thanks,

yours faithfully

Ahem...

It seems I have got a worthy following - now I just need to conquer the world... :p

But to the business (doctoring, that is): The Korean and Japanese editions of The Gallery are indeed different, each being distributed by a different company, I think. The only actual difference is in the bonus-tracks and as my memory doesn't serve me any better, I have to go with Arch. I need to check that...

However, wasn't there a strange mix-up with the bonus-songs on the Korean editions of The Gallery and The Mind's I? They had the Enter Suicidal Angels -mini split up between those two, plus some cover-songs (apparently those Secret Reich and Bringer of Torture), but in some strange order. What is the exact songlisting on your albums, FatherVic?

Final_Vision: Even the mighty Doctor Villain needs some sleep now and then.

Atlantis: I think I need to send you a personal recipe... ;)

The Japanese copy of The Mind's I has Razorfever, Shadowlit Facade, and Archetype. I have the Japanese CD. Incidentally, the D.T. boys were in the same city (Tokyo) where I bought the CDs last April. Unfortunately, I didn't see them. :(

Yeah, this is true and I guess there was also a US edition of "Enter the Mind's I" - am I correct?

And to Melancholia: I'll post my interpretation of Lethe someday, but I'll do this FAQ-thing first; after all I think I should not put my own opinions as facts on the FAQ and my interpretation of Lethe would be just that - opinions.

I don't know any US version of "Enter the Mind's I."

Ok after u do that Lethe thing for Mel.. I want my own Insanity's Crescendo one :p I love it but I don't get some parts.. you would help a lot :)
Another thing.. is there any difference (apart from the cover) between the two Skydancer/Of Chaos versions I've seen around? The one I've got has the standard Skydancer cover, but I'll order the other one, and I just want to know if there is any REAL difference..
@Mel: sorry for "borrowing" one of your ideas :p

@themindzi: well the only difference you'll find IS the artwork involved....but well it's nice to have indeed....
the normal one is the European rerelease of Skydancer (now including Of Chaos) the other one is the USA release that took place somwhere in 2000 I guess!

As for the Korean stuff! I've got THe Gallery and The Mind's I and as you guys said right the gallery (korean) has Sacred Reich and Archetype for bonus and The Mind's I has razorfever, shadowlight facade and bringer of torture...Both licensed by Osmose and released by Dream On records....the booklets are the same as the European version, but the printings on the back and on the cd itself are darker....
I just haven't found a Korean release of Projector nor Haven (may be Century Media didn't license them to Korea...
