ASPEN TRACK DONE!

I'm glad you felt this merited it's own thread in all caps.

I loled at the owl for some reason. Seemed really silly. If it was me I'd take out the owl, make it 20 secs of rain followed by the lightening.

The vocals are actually solid; with the reverb it works, but they need more going on around them. But then those really obnoxious ones towards the 2 minute mark need to die.
Needs more percussion. The melody coming in around 2 mins is cool. The hoot at 2:30 is silly, but the part after that actually sounds really cool. At about 3:30 should go into something faster, with drums coming in building up to an 8 minute song, but instead it just slowed down again. Too bad. The end result is that it goes nowhere and all the tension you build is wasted. Also, the hooting owl keeps making me laugh.

My name is Kelly if you didn't already know that. The main thing to know is that I love music and it's really important to me. IGNORE MY URL, im not big on avenged sevenfold anymore.

You somehow managed to make something sillier than Kastigation.

To be fair, if we didn't know the guy behind the project, we might think more of it. I, for instance, thought it was damn silly too, but still kind of cool. The clip in the video is obviously hugely Agalloch influenced.

yeah, i know what you mean. actually, one of the ideas i had early on was to make a part two. maybe i'll do that. but at the moment, riffs fitting that style arent coming to me

fast beat (kick-snare at 180 bpm) + a trem-picked riff. What I like to do is find a simple pattern on one string, usually the A, and then trem-pick it while also hitting the open E string.
