Atomic Punks

I was wondering if you guys ever heard the Roth Era Van Halen cover band the Atomic Punks? In my opinion they are the best cover band in the world.

I know the singer, Ralph. I met him when he was in L.A. Guns. Cool guy, he's also in Metal Shop, who is Danger Kitty from those Discover comercials. For those that didn't know. I was looking forward to seeing Metal Shop on my trip but they play Monday nights at Viper Room and I won't be there on a Monday.

The Atomic Punks are an excellent and entertaining band. The musicianship is superior. Russ is a phenomenal guitarist, and Scott is one of the most talented drummers I have seen.

BTW: Ralph and Russ have apparently parted ways with Perfect World Entertainment (who owns Metal Shop) and will continue with a similar project called Metal Skool. Metal Shop will apparently continue with different characters.

Yeah the Punks rule... good people too. I think their new band (MSkool) will still be playing the Viper Room... not sure. I heard they played this last monday.

Russ has a really good original band the Thornbirds (aka the Ducks) check out some of their samples. He's a mega talent.
