And I agree that a somewhat personal tone is best, to put the customers at ease, hence why I kept the personal pronoun and contractions. And I ditched the "new" from deck because it felt redundant after "new home"

And Greg, as for that last sentence in hers, you were close, but because the subject is "PRT", a singular entity, it would technically be "is able to..." :)
 
Oh, and in case anyone is wondering, my Mom's been a writer and especially editor her entire professional life :D
 
"design and layout of any size project" sounds a bit strange to me

i'd be tempted to go with "design and layout of a project of any size" or "design and layout of a project, no matter the size"
