Attention fellow puffers.

i'm too damn cheap and dumb for all that high quality shit. i just stick to little metal bowls. i had to get rid of ANOTHER one thanks to my narq room mate and a psycho bitch down the hall, but this one i just entrusted to a friend. they sell them at gas stations in MD for like $10. i tell people here about that and they're amazed. i usually just smoke blunts here. i've honestly never smoked out of anything other than a glass or metal bowl or paper. if i ever get to smoke from a bong i'm not gonna have a clue haha.

haha, my primary smoking buddy back home, he smokes with both of his parents and i'm always so weirded out whenever he talks about it.

my dad is a social drinker/alcoholic/social drinker and won't admit to anything else.

my mom admits to smoking weed twice when she was younger, hating the feeling of "having no control" over her body and then launches right into a rant about how her bother did drugs and ruined the lives of everyone around him and that she had better not ever catch any of her kids doing drugs. i'm dead serious about that, too. will has witnessed it.

We know she has a tendency to scream shit like this to the streets and tell all her friends who will in turn tell all their friends/parents etc., so we hide most aspects of it from her. my little brother and i started smoking around the same time, too - i was 16 and he was 12. he's 15 now and says that he never smoked weed in his life. he's a hunting enthusiast now ... you know, the kind of guy you can see 15 years from now having a compound in Montana, living off of generators and shooting the mailman for bringing bills to him.

my little sister, also 15, is into all that "gangsta" shit and smokes and drinks moderately but then puts pictures up on myspace with captions like "we're so fuckin' drunk here haha playa4lyfe!" Smart move when she had criminal charges against her for punching a girl in the head and all, but who am i to judge? smoked with her and one of her friends once when i called out of work. she's a pretty chill kid.

Remininisnisnisnce... my friend has a really good method for keeping stems. It's a drink he calls Green Dragon. Basically, you take a 5th of vodka about 2/3rds full and put your stems in it. Let them sit there a couple months or even a year and eventually the alcohol will extract the THC from the stems and then it floats around. It turns into a nasty puke green color, hence the name. One or two shots of that stuff and you're doing good. I've tried it, it works.

Vaporizers are worth the investment. They're way smooth and you don't rape your lungs with big hits. Plsu, after you smoke the bud you can take it out and smoke it again in a normal pipe or bong.

I prefer any piece with water. Glass pipes are cool, but harsh and metal pipes are disgusting. Smoking weed from a little metal pipe is akin to picking a cigarette butt off the ground and smoking it... but that's just me. I'll still do it if there's no other option heh.
 
Kev, how many grams of stems did you use, approximately? I use a metal pipe because it's the only thing I have. Does anyone have any suggestions for making a water piece out of a bottle? I've done it with a wooden pipe before, but without that pipe, I don't know what else to use for a bowl.
 
Oh I don't know dude. I've never done it, I've just seen what he did. He had YEARS' worth of stems in that thing. He'd been letting it sit and adding stems to it since before I knew him, which was probably 8 years ago (holy shit, reality check). He busts it out on special occasions and the one time I tried it, it was NASTY but I was already wasted so I tried it anyways. I think it's mainly something to do instead of throwing your stems away. I don't think you could throw them in and let it sit for a couple hours and then drink it. It's a really long process.

If you wanna get a water piece, I'd say just get one online. Don't bother with making one, it's a pain in the ass and they usually don't work as good as the real thing. There are tons of online shops that sell full on water bongs and pipes and basically anything you can think of. Here's one I just randomly found with a pretty cool selection:

That one site was really fucking cool. However, I wouldn't order from the UK. Just how does shipping on these types of items work? Wouldn't it have to be really carefully handled, and how much extra would that cost? Just throwing that type of question out to anyone who has ordered bongs online. I really think I'll order one now. Now I just need to find a site in the USA. Suggestions? :) I'm really fucking sick of smoking out of a tiny metal pipe. It's disgusting, unhealthy.

Also, I'm sure they know how to properly pack a fragile piece for shipping and it's probably included in the overall cost. Make sure to pay for shipping insurance if they offer it. It's cheap and totally worth it in the event anything might happen.
