ATTENTION VOCALISTS:

Open auditions are now being conducted for lead and supporting roles for the power metal opera “Krone”. Theme is a mythological epic. All voices (male and female) will be considered. Candidates should possess strong singing ability in one or more of the following styles: rock/metal, Classical, and choral. No sight reading necessary, but must have good ear and ability to sing harmony. Classical training and prior studio experience a plus. Third and fourth year voice students welcome.

Some have asked about a deadline to submit demo material for consideration. Good question. Though we do not have a firm date for that, we would like to review submissions ASAP. If you can get us something by Dec. 31, 2006, that would be great. If you have any other questions, please feel free to drop us a line.

Since there is a thread full of talented vocalists on Nightwish.com discussion board, asking questions, helping each others by giving advise and posting their own demo recordings for others to comment and criticise costructively, and discussing about singing overall, I took the liberty of copying and linking your announcement in there. Also some classically trained American ladies keep posting there, so who knows...
