Hmm thats true, generally the local band rule is a "60 mile radius" from the club, but they make exceptions all the time. The main sticking point with Jaxx is that you have to sell tickets, EVERYONE has to sell them, so maybe if you can convince them that you will sell tickets they will agree. Sending a CD to the owner Jay might help too, hes a pretty nice guy actually.

Well the Localpalooza's are basically just local showcase shows, not like a Battle of the Bands or anything. They have them quite often, pretty much anyone can get on them from what I understand. We're playing one on July 22 I believe.

Indeed I'll answer that. I don't know if I can drive to Philly. Duh, because I was told I am only allowed to drive locally for 6 weeks because of the surgery. He actually specifically said, "I mean drive around Long Island, but no excursions to Philadelphia or anything".

And I do want to go to Death in the Forest, but it looks like once again I will be missing out. Oh well
