Audio Editing in Reaper 3 Question

I'm planning to buy Reaper 3, so I wanted to know if there's an internal audio editor (like Cubase). If not, what free or low-cost editors can you suggest?

If you mean for destructive editing of audio files, then no. Personally, I don't see why you would need to; just do your edits to the media items, then consolidate them down as one new file!

the conclusion was either just use reapers editing tools, or use wavosaur
