AUS: Buying Internationally NOT From eBay

Only this morning i discovered that Musiciansfriend.com post worldwide. They have a pretty decent range and reasonable prices.

Sweetwater ships international as well..

Has anyone had any experience buying in Australia from these guys?

Or are there any other US sites that you could recommend when looking for gear (pro audio mainly)?

Interested to hear your views.

Not dealt with either of those US websites but I've made purchases from thomann (europe) before and never had any troubles. Flat rate 50 euro shipping on anything you order is TASTY.

oooh i like that.. i've always avoided Europe/UK cos the prices seem a bit inflated.. then the shipping isn't normally as cheap.. will check that out.

yea thomann is great. iv had nothing but good experiences with them.

also, only certain items ship worldwide on MF so make sure you check before ordering.

Well it depends on what brands you want. Obviously you wouldn't buy Mesa's from europe because they're made in America, shit like that.

also remember that the Thomann prices have the 20% VAT included so you would take off 20% of the euro's add 50euro and then convert to aus dollars
