Actually...the fosters in oz is way worse than the one we're drinking (or not) in Europe, the one in the USA is completely different again

Boag's fuckin rocks! Thats my pick of late. Fosters is worse then XXXX or tooheys gold, and thats saying something. And I can't help but like Extra Dry/VB, too much of that done as a teen.

The REAL reason that movies, albums and games are released in the US before Oz is because it takes longer to manufacture the physical discs. They are actually the size of a 33 1/3 vinyl album and there are special Australian-Made multi-media disc players that serve as a one-fits all purpose. I was totally shocked and couldn't believe when I first came here that there is only 1 media unit per household (unless the family are wealthy). On the same media player unit, you can listen to music, watch a movie or play any game format on the market.
The newer Blue-Ray discs have their own player, though.
I swear sometimes living in this country reminds me of what it was like to grow up in the 80s.
