Venues that serve alcohol can have all ages shows and keep the bar open, but you have to close off the bar area and have security checking ID as people go into the bar area, and making sure no one is leaving the area with alcohol. Metal For The Brain is all ages and has a bar, and entertainment centers still have the bars open when all ages are on.

The main reason smaller venues like The Metro and The Gaelic Club don't do them is because it means hiring more security, which means more money.
