Automatic plugin delay compensation problem in cubase

Ok is it normal that when running a project with large number of plug ins that my latency is huge due to the automatic plugin delay compensation in cubase as when i turn it off i have no problems with latency but when its on the latency is much larger than what is shown in my device set up menu

Never mind i found what i was looking for in the manual the large number of plug-ins i was using was causing the problem

I'm not really 100% sure but I think some plugins induce a fixed amount of delay, like 128 samples etc in order to be able to work. So yea, even if your computer is awesome and whatever, certain plugins will give you a longer latency even if you're running on the minimum latency on your soundcard.
