Autotune Bass

I had better luck with replaying the bass :)

I never used melodyne (I use waves tune lt. for vocal tuning) so I only demoed autotune for correcting a bass. What a pain in the ass. After some hours I called it a day, took a good bass and replayed the songs.
Took me one hour ;)

+1, i always re-play bass for bands with retard bass players (in my case, most of them).

never even considered melodyne-ing bass, but i suppose it could be really helpful for cleaning up a mix in some cases. i've heard some pretty bad/obvious/artifacty tune-jobs on bass that sortof turned me off to the whole idea, but ermin/jeff have never led us wrong before... :D

I've been using midi bass mostly unless the song calls for a more present bass.

I often use Auto Tune's graphical mode to check the intonation of bass. I've also used it a few times to correct intonation issues. A lot of bass players "fret" too hard, causing notes to be sharp.
