Autotune for guitar.

Less-than-perfect intonation muddies your guitar's tone.

Sorry, but if you want to do an artistic sound out of tune live? Or using the whammy bar?

Why do this? I mean, nowadays we still have musicians that are not able to tune their intruments because they are too stupid...and now we have to save them also from this basic thing????
Why playing an instruments should be something that everybody can do without a single minute of study (like singing nowadays)? They shouldn't be forced even to tune their fuckin' instrument? Fuck this! It can be usefull sometimes but when you see every fuckin' millionair pop singer that sing only because of autotune I'm scary to see also guitarists do the same.

20 years from now, guitarists will be saying, "Hey, can you add a sweep picked arpeggio, here? You know, with your 'studio tricks' and whatnot?"

Oh trust me, that already exists, in many forms, I've personally had to sample most of the notes above the 12th fret for some bands that sweep but suck at playing it, then it basically becomes a 'design your sweep' situation because I've got all their guitars notes sampled and tuned in DI format. Hehe, the things we do to make bands sound better!!!

Well people that diss a product like this is not working with this fulltime. Tuning and intonation is a BITCH. I spend almost as much time tuning as recording sometimes. I almost got perfect pitch hearing and the guitar almost always sounds out of tune. If this product will help tune distorted guitars this will help me bigtime. I don't think it will work good
on distorted chords but if it helps octaves and solo playing that would be a time-saver. Looking forward to trying it

If you do that, you only make the bands slowly realize that no matter how much they can suck, you'll just do all the work for them, don't get credited for it and the audience doesn't realize they suck. :bah: I don't like that on almost any level, as I rather do less work myself and make the band do majority of the work. I rather do less magic and see more real work.

But intonation correction? Sure, I'll try that.

This is silly. Even the dude's demo sounds like ass.

I would like a Firefox "Plugin" that blocks all shite from Antares
