I tried, and tried, no way to break out to go to either show in Petaluma or SF. Damn...

I usually do arrive early and see all/most openers when I do go, wondering your opinion on Leatherwolf, never heard them before. By the name it sounds like biker metal (ala Motorhead, Accept), but I understand they might be more '80's sounding hair...Either case, I'd probably like it, if it ain't death.

I have to expect some new Testament soon -- What's on their plate for the rest of summer after this weekends' shows in SoCal, aside from the writing...

OH MAN, you missed some cool/fun shows :(!

i personally do not like leatherwolf (an old friend of mine adores them). they did some interesting 3-guitar work on stage, but their style is just not my bag. i would definitely consider them a "hair band," but heavier than glam.

the only hair band i can barely tolerate is ratt... and that's mostly because of warren dimartini!!!

The Avalon Testament show ruled. I screamed "SINS OF OMISSION!!!!!!!!!" at the top of my lungs, and Chuck heard it, told Eric that "Hey, theres another guy who wants to hear Sins", and Eric started playing the opening riff. I jumped on the rail, and Chuck said "I think we just made that guys night"

He sure did :)

HAHA, yeah I wish they had played it (sins) too but I was just happy that they played Eerie Inhabitants. I mean what other band takes a poll on their website and listens to their fans on what song to open up the show with? THAT WAS THE BEST ! Maybe we'll hear Sins live on the next tour.
