Avantasia- Dying for An Angel

Will the double CD be available in the States?
I love the samples and would buy it the day it comes out, but I don't want to pay import prices.
Money is kinda tight with me buying a new house and everything.
Is the US release later in the year?

Were people this hyped about The Scarecrow??

I think The Scarecrow, being so different from the other Avantasia albums, had to grow on people first. Now that it has, people feel safe getting excited for the new stuff. I think there was initial disappointment from a lot of fans with The Scarecrow, but most got over it. I know it took a few spins for it to grow on me, but ultimately I ended up listening to it quite a lot.

I like it. I'll admit, though, that it took a few listens for it to grow on me. This is exactly what I was expecting the "single" to sound like though, straight ahead, melodic hard rock influenced Power Metal. I'm sure the rest of the album(s) will be much more varied, the clips I heard were just awesome.

It might seem generic, but it's also the single. It's better than Lost in Space, so that's a good omen. Even though the clips are available, I refuse to listen to them. This is one of those double albums I want to hear as a complete work when I get them.

I love the song, and agree that it is MUCH better than "Lost in Space". Sure, I'd rather hear some classic Avantasia I power metal, but honestly..... Tobias writes a GREAT 80's hair metal tune, so more power to him for putting out some of this stuff.

Anyone else hear Bon Jovi in the final chorus line of the song? "....come back to me...." It's straight off one of the first two Bon Jovi CDs, but drawing a blank on the song....

The entire chorus sounds like a Bon Jovi song.

That much is true. I'm sure when the album breaks, I will be much more impressed. One of the most anticipated ones for me this year.
