I have been out of the country this past week...so I dont know if this has been mentioned yet...they are doing on show in Canada in August I think or the end of july. I saw them play live last thursday night and was blown away. Such an amazing show to see live. They played over 3 hours non stop. I was shocked when looking at the tour shirt and the dates and the Canadian show was on there. If anyone who wants to see them....I suggest flying or doing a road trip to canada to see this. You will not be disappointed.

Where in Canada? First time ever I hear about this. Let's hope for me it's Montreal or Quebec City, and not Toronto or Vancouver...Let's also hope it's not while I'll be away on vacation...

hopefully some of the US fans will make it up there. Like I said...I just noticed it on Pat's (modernWizardrys) shirt when we were waiting for them to start up. Everyone sounded great. I am curious to see if Kiske will come over with them on this stretch. It was great seeing him and Bob Catley sing live.

Depending on where the show will happen, there is a small scene that holds around 3000-4000 people and there's the huge scene that holds around 80000 people. I figure they'll be on the small scene so you better arrive early.

Here's the link to our festival: http://www.infofestival.com/Home/

Good luck and let us know if you guys make it up here. We have an awesome city!!! :-)

I've had tickets to the Festival for a long time an openers usually get around 45 minutes. Avantasia should have 1:30 to 2:00 hours.

I have a feeling they won't have that long of a set considering it's part of a festival.

This is a festival that is running during 11 days. On the particular night Avantasia plays (Sunday July 7), there will be just 3 bands playing on that site (which can hold around 5,000 people, while the main site that will have Rush, Def Leppard/Foreigner, etc... on other days can get around 75,000-80,000):

Running order for July 7 (Loto-Quebec Stage):
Never More Than Less 7:00 PM
Voivod 7:45 PM
Avantasia 9:15 PM

So, Avantasia have plenty of time to play 90-120 minutes if they want. Surely not 180 minutes though...
