I just Downloaded two songs by this you starlet, first is Knockin on heavens door which is bery good and second is a live version of Metallicas Fuel which is better than the original.

blegh! I watched her do Fuel live on MTV, and it was quite pathetic! She has got to be one of the most boring live performers ever!

And let's not forgot her diva-like moments down here a few weeks back!

Agreed guys. If record companies are going to manufacture artists, why don't they do it with someone who can actually sing. Avril Lavigne is so bland it is an insult to the record buying public, yet she is still a high charting 'artists' *sigh*. Did anyone see her 'performance' on ROVE? It was horrible. She basically spoke the song, not sang it.

Yep... that's what she's known for, absolutely bland live "shows". I actually feel sorry for her band, they look like a bunch of young blokes having a great time up there, but she gets all the accolades!

Some of her songs don't sound that bad, but that is studio manipulation for you. As I said, if they are just going to manufacture an image for 'artist', why not pick someone who can actually sing..?
