Ted Maul are a fantastic band! Saw them support Akercocke on their 10th anniversary.. Absolutely insane live!

Akercocke is a great band name though.. Named after a monkey in a Faust tale. Instant classic!

There's a lot of Anal bands.. Anal Stench was the old Decapitated vocalists band if i'm not mistaken.. Anaal Nathrakh sounds pretty chuckleworthy too.

There was an all girl punk band when I went to college called Spearmint Vagina. Too bad they sucked so bad.

Was listening to Deep Jimi and the Zep Creams today. Always thought that was a crazy name.

One amazing obscure prog band from
the early 70's...

"Colonel Bagshots Bucket Band."

You should really checkout the Colonel's
vocals, sounds like he gargles gravel.

They recorded on the "checker cadet concept" label
if my memory serves.
