Doesn't sound bad at all man, not bad! But in terms of sounding LIKE a Mark IV, I definitely don't feel it has the characteristics I enjoy from that amp. Just my opinion of course

It's match EQ'd from Dream Theater - Shattered Fortress. I feel like the mutes of the Mark IV in the Axe-Fx are not similar to the real Mark IV. Axe-Fx is overly tight.
If I'm not mistaken the Axe-Fx has a SAG control that can make the sound less tight and more "tubey" or "spongy". I might be thinking of the Axe-Fx II but give it a look on the wiki or the manual.
That is right but that wasn't the problem I was having after all. The sag control worked on the low end but my issue was more with the high end tightness. The amp advanced settings had a parameter for amp high cut and that fixed my problem. Plenty of tweakage possible... I'd just rather tweak less and be happy.
