Bachelor Food!

Peanut soup. Having said that, I now imagine Ronnie Coleman going, "Yeah buddy! Nothing but a peanut soup!"

Peanut butter, chicken stock, cream. Tasty stuff and healthy. I can dig up the recipe if you want it. Another good thing to cook is fried rice. Mix it up and add whatever you want, so the taste and health factor vary on how you decide what goes in. Brown rice is healthy too for that.

I choose good over healthy, but I just try to do it all in moderation.

Worcestershire sauce + brown sugar. Mix up a nice batch of that until it just starts to thicken up a tiny bit. Soak some pork chops or a nice steak in that stuff for a while, and then throw it on that George Foreman grill. Add a baked potato or something. Delicious.

Buy a wok. Get you a pouch of that 90 second rice that you cook in the microwave. Cook some chicken breast fillets on the Foreman grill and just before they're done throw the rice in the microwave. Slice the chicken up into little thin slices and throw them in the wok with the cooked rice. Smother it all in teriyaki grilling sauce and fry it until the chicken gets a nice glazed coating on it. I love this because it's ridiculously simple but it makes me feel like I'm making something special. It will also impress the ladies.

Phat Thai.. (The real deal). Quesadillas are good too. Beans got some good protein but of course you will fart much. With the Foreman Grill, I usually make a sandwich, then lightly put butter on both sides and toast it! hmmm

oh yea WTF is a microwaved egg...

Well for me, I plunk two egg whites and one whole egg in a bowl, whisk the hell out of 'em, and nuke 'em for 3:30 (on our microwave here, but I tried it at home for that time and it was literally like an eggy hockey puck  ), then slice 'em up with a spoon, let 'em sit for like 3 or 4 minutes (perfect amount of time to make toast), salt, and there's dinner! :D

heaven forbid wash it up in a sink is to much effort. Eating right is something that is very important marcus try not to think of it as a pain in the ass because you have to cook and clean up. I realy enjoy cooking a decent meal when im at home.

And believe me it is a always nice to be able to cook for the ladies they love that shit pow

Anyways what im saying is cook that shit up man or at least try it for one week where you cook a proper meal using your moms receipe or whatever every day and see how you get on.

HEAVEN FORBID INDEED!!! You're right though - I do eat right (eggs and turkey are still heathy!), but strictly for the purposes of being able to entertain company, I should hone my skillz...

Carbs are more protein sparing than even protein is so EAT CARBOHYDRATES.

W.W Macaroni is legit. A box of that and a can of tuna and I'm ready to but a nut./

WTF, are you drunk dude? What do you mean "protein sparing?"

Hmm, intriguing, and Ronnie Coleman scares the living bejeezus outta me

*Hilarity*

Hahahahaha, nah, fortunately THAT I don't have to worry about, all their food lives in the freezer :heh:

"Phat Thai"? Is that Pad Thai with 50% more gangsta and free bling in every box?

Seriously, learn to stir fry. Get a big pan with no non-stick coating (can't use that stuff at high temperatures), cook some rice (rice cookers are handy), and right when the rice is about to finish spend a few minutes heating some oil in the pan and throwing thinly-sliced vegetables and meat at it.

Other useful things to know how to cook are mujadara (rice and lentil dish flavored with onions), various easy bread-like-things (pita bread and pizza crusts are handy), and couscous - buy lentils, rice, couscous, and bread ingredients in bulk at a decent grocery store (and don't buy instant couscous with shitty flavorings!) and you'll have easy meals set.

Reindeer stew and lingonberry/cranberry jam
Tuna and cottage cheese
Salmon
Minced cow beef and 100 % wholegrain rye bread
Polar cheese 5 %

Those contain huge amounts of proteins and good fats, and are very low on carbohydrates. Perfect food with half of the plate full of fresh vegetables and salad :) Inbetween, just eat an apple or a slice of wholegrain rye bread. For breakfast, anything with a nice amount of fibers and 1 % fat milk, and a glass of self-squeezed orange juice. And as the last meal of the day at around 20:00 (8 PM), eat 100 grams of tuna and 100 grams of cottage cheese.

Should land you at about 2000 kcal (8400 kJ) per day with about 80 grams of protein, 170 grams of carbohydrates and 50 grams of good fats (keeps your guts in good shape, no constipation).

OH GAWD I LOVE SALADDADD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i used to not really like plain tomatoes, cucumbers, and all that other shit they put on my lettuce to form SALAD; but after being malnourished due to life is fuckkked syndrome, i can just eat the shit out of fresh vegetables. sadly, i'm paranoid about buying this stuff at the grocery store because i'm afraid it will go bad TOO QUICK.

I'm not drunk. You were concerned about protein intake. You said it HAS TO HAVE PROTEIN. Then you said carbs were a problem. I'm saying that if you eat more carbs your body won't need to take in as much protein cause it can use some of your carbohydrate intake instead. So you don't have to eat as much protein. This is obviously pretty oversimplified but that's the basic idea. Carbohydrates keep the balance. My whole point was basically don't cut out carbohydrates.

Anyway proceeeed.

Microwaved eggs? Uggggh. Cooking REALLY isn't that hard or time consuming. I do most of the cooking around home. If you decided to "deflower" your Foreman grill, I'll give you my grilled chicken recipe, especially for an indoor grill (my friend's whole family knows my name because of this dish :) ). Once you learn 2 or 3 key techniques about cooking with the Foreman grill, you can make really good stuff...easily. But without those techniques, you'll end up with flavorless rubber.

And if you insist on cooking with the microwave, and like chicken curry...I've got an easy 20 minute chicken curry (no joke...roughly 20 minutes total time...prep and cook) that has met with the approval of my Indian friends.

Actofvengence...that sounds yummy! Have to try that myself. Marcus, seriously...learn to cook. It's really not hard to make meals that seem fancy, but are really easy...and will impress a girl to cook something really nice. :) Hit me up for some of my easier/quicker dishes.

you need to share that curry recipe dude. I fuckin love curry!
