Holiday was okay. A week is a long time in Maderia. You could do the good stuff in three days. The rest was filler.

Yeah, it'd been pissing down the last two days. When pretty much the entire point of a holiday in Maderia is about the views and the mountains, etc, it's a pisser when everything's covered in thick fog.

Me and Julie were the only people under 40 on the entire island too, it seemed. Walking around the main town was like being an extra in a Romero movie...

My contact email for the folks I registered the domain with was one I haven't used for aeons, so I wasn't getting the reminders for renewal. So it expired... A real head-slapping Homer Simpson moment
