I haven't noticed this before but I was sitting down listening to replica by FF and noticed some weirdass shit going on with the snare triggering. If you have the song check out the snarefill at 1:24 and at 2:21. Damnit that sounds fucking retarded... I know the record is more than 10 years old, but still would you let something like that pass through to printage?

Just a cool thing to look up if you have spare time...

Raymond plays it like that live too, so it's probably either intentional, or they couldn't get it trigger right and he instead does it like that live too  But considering how polished the entire album is, it is 99% certainly intentional.

ok I have to find a live clip of that song then...:kickass:

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but we don't need a theard per false triggering :)

Did you guys hear or see Evergray's Night to Remember. Is it me or the drums are screwed? Some bad triggering or maybe pitchshifting...

Hmm I have that DVD but don't recall any bad drumming... I've only watched like once, and once is enough with evergrey!

Until recently, I would buy a Fear Factory album the day it came out, and it would be the only disc in my cd player for about 6 months! What the fuck happened! What's this ballad shit, on the latest album? That's just fuckin' rude, to put a ballad right in the middle of a FF album! The twenty minute song at the end was ok, but now the album's over in the middle, and ends with a fuckin U2 or Nirvana song! Oh shit, gettin' carried away, yeah, Demanufacture, that's a real fuckin' album!

Shit man, well spotted. Just had a listen, see what you mean mind. Where you stoned when you spotted that by any chance, I seemed to spot things like that myself under the influence of a spicey spliff :Smokin:

I wish I had been stoned so I wouldn't have spotted it... Every time I listen to that song now, I'm always kind of waiting for the retarded snarefill...

i toured with FF once and can tell you, raymond uses kick and snare triggers live. the exact same ones he uses in the studio. what youre hearing on that song is not 100% intentional. he does not play it the same live.
