Balanced power supply units.

Whats your thoughts or experience with balanced power supply units or balanced line conditioners. I know Furman makes one that is like 1600.00 and Equi=Tech also makes one. The garage I'm using for recording has some noisy power and it really makes amps and stuff hum. I'm also wanting clean power for my recording equipment to get the best sound. I'm also wanting to keep my gear safe.

This stuff is kinda new to me and just curious if you guys think its a waste of money or if its something to really save up and buy?

Was going to ask the same question! What I've dug up though is that in general shitty power can't be fixed by buying something, the wiring has to be redone properly...
