Hey Guys,

heres a mix im working on

i think the kick needs to be louder, and the leads at the end havent been properly mixed yet.

I replaced the kick snare and toms with sneap gogs!

What do you think?

Is it just me or are the transitions kinda choppy? especially the lead panned left at 0:37 (could just be my lack of sleep this week)

and i would agree with the kick needing to be louder.

I do like it tho

The guitars are really scratchy and incomprehensible dude. Lower the gain a tad - All I hear is "Kssssshhhhh" and it's really distracting.

Yer i havent finished with my edits yet haha, figured id mix it as best i can first, then edit and automate. Agreed, ive made the kick louder in the newest mix!

Yer, im not happy with the tones at all, i recorded the guitars from a 6505 through an orange cab, i think i miced way to close tho. wish i had a royer 121!
Ill upload a mix where i feel theyre better soon!

Haha thats cool dude, im looking to make a career out of producing so i need people to be brutally honest to help me to push myself to the next level! I rekkon the song is wicked, the band is really cool and have worked really hard, which im glad about!

Drums sound killer man. The guitars need a little less gain. The fuzzy-ness (Is that a word? It should be) is killing me.

Any chance you link the samples you used for the kick?
