Bands like Sargeist

All of those albums are pretty different from each other. I would say A Blaze in the Northern Sky is the least accessible so I can understand why you wouldn't like it, especially if you're just getting into black metal. Don't know why you don't like Soulside Journey. It's seriously one of my all time favorite death metal albums.

Being that the OSDM sound is pretty much my favorite "sound" within metal, there's very little I don't like.

But yeah, this is getting off-topic. Check out Deathspell Omega's early stuff. It's Darkthrone-worship.

Yeah, definitely get Under a Funeral Moon and Transilvanian Hunger. The title track of the former is one of the best catchiest and accessible black metal songs, I'd say.
