Ulver and Enslaved absolutely, but I disagree with Radiohead. I liked it when they at least pretended to play music (aka The Bends).

Porcupine Tree, arguably.

Pink Floyd's middle period with Waters was the best (although I personally love a lot of the transitional stuff, like Saucerful of Secrets) but then Waters took over (Final Cut) and left (AMLOR and Division Bell) which was no good.

Saying Enslaved improved from Vikingligr Veldi to Ruun is akin to saying George Lucas improved Star Wars from A New Hope to Revenge of the Sith.

Totally agree with Behemoth, their shit gets more brutal with each album and I think the shift from straight black metal to blackened death metal suited them very well.

I'm gonna step into the line of fire and say Children of Bodom. Their older stuff was good but their newer stuff, especially Are You Dead Yet? is pretty sick.

Megadeth, their pre. Rust in Peace era sucks, but Rust in Peace, Countdown to Extinction and Youthanasia are great albums. And I have to say that System Has Failed and United Abominations are quite good records too... Definetly better than the crap they released between 1997-2001.
