The German Ambient Black Metal-Projct "Bann" released its first song for free download at mp3.de ( http://www.mp3.de/bannseiten ).

The self produced Track is called "Aber aus der Asche wird ein Schwan entstehen" and approx. 9 min in length.

"Bann"'s music stands in the vein of Synthizer Black Metal, such as Bergthron, Vinterriket, Paysage D'Hiver and similar. It consists of atmospheric melodies, e-drums, distorted guitars and shrieked and spoken vocals.

The lyrics deal with specific events, characters and originalities of the Middle Ages and medieval life, without being consciously morbid or negative.

The Demo-EP ANTIOCHIA was professionally recorded and produced in the SAD-Studio. The result are 33 minutes between melancholy and melody, between furore and passion, between Ambient and Black Metal. The EP comes in a 6 paged Digipack and is limited to 50 handnumbered copies.
