Bass Cab for the studio

I know the industry standard is the ampeg 8x10. But i was wondering if anyone has had any experience using a Mesa 8x10 for recording and what they think about it.

yeah cause i can get a mesa 8x10 cheaper thru my work then buying a ampeg 8x10 new since we don't carry ampeg.

try Mesa 4x10... sounds great.
Ampeg 8x10 is pretty ace but also the most inconvient bastard ever.

yeah they are huge fridge cab's but i love the look and sound of an 8x10.

I'd just go for a 4x10" myself. Fuck moving a 8x10" about.
