Bass Level?

I posted a first draft mix of this last week.
Here is the final mix but I am unsure of the bass level.
The band wanted a Mastodon style mix.

yeah bass is loud. to loud. bring it down some. also its to bassy i think.. just try cutting out a little more low end to give it a tad more attack. but it will sound pretty good after that. just try it. mix the bass level while listening to the song.

dude sounds killer now.

now you have the bass where its in you face and present and you cant miss it , but it still works with the mix and you can hear everything else.

before , the bass was fighting the mix and drowning the guitar!

The song and the mix rocks, the only thing I'd do is to go turn up/automate the vocal in some sections. There's a couple of places where it gets barely audible (eg. 2:38, 2:49)
The only thing I don't like is the mastering - it clips and is crushed to hell and back, no dynamics whatsoever. Just check out what happens to the drum roll at the very end, suddenly when the guitars cut out, the drum roll get strangely up.
