I like the production ... its big and punchy
aside from the fact that Eric Adams' vocals are showing their age (which is natural) I think he still did a pretty bang-up job singing most of it.
My big problem is why the fuck did they slow shit down? I just gave the original disc a spin and several of the tunes are noticeably slower. Mostly with Dark Avenger, Battle Hymn and Manowar
That irks me.
Other than that, I wouldn't mind hearing them do this with Into Glory Ride and Hail To England. Sign Of The Hammer sounded fine to me but c'mon, those other two sound horrible ... even though I love them dearly for their "charm".
