well, i've never heard Wasp, but i voted for Queen because Queen are one of my all time favourite bands, and a pretty big influence on my musical style. Brain May is such a great guitarist!

They don't really sound like anybody, they have a unique sound. When they started, they were kinda aggressive Hollywood shock rock hair metal stuff lol. Like a thrashier, more aggressive early Motley Crue (Too Fast/Shout type vibe) with throatier vocals. Even kinda of a fist-in-the-air Twisted Sister/Quiet Riot type vibe. You could also kinda say they were like the early Kiss of the '80s.... more metal, more aggressive, thrashier, etc.. but with the same type of energy about them and similar live show, image, etc.

Then they went more serious, some Iron Maiden influence in the guitars and melodies etc... more political lyrics... etc.

They are awesome Download the songs "Hellion", "Tormentor" or "Wild Child" for a taste of their early sound, and "The Headless Children" or "Chainsaw Charlie" for a taste of their later sound.
