More like aging millennial but I won't be stopping listening to The Doors, or Judy Garland for that matter. Some of the grunge I grew up with wears a bit thin, and then there was nu metal and worse, but it stays in the mp3 collection.

My join date kinda lies as I only started visiting these main sections of the forum 4 years ago.

A lot of people love the doors but I always found their music kind of jarring and weird. I didn't like how the organ sounded, in the mix, or something.

Pretty sure that's the point of a lot of their music. I can't get into the more jarring bad-trip stuff like "Not to Touch the Earth", but songs like "L.A. Woman" and "People Are Strange" blow my fucking mind.
