BB King's Cancelled?!?!?

My friend called the box office this morning. There was some sort of scheduling conflict on the part of the venue, and the show is going to be rescheduled.

I guess this answers the question about why tickets were not available on ticketmaster.com the other day.

Thanks for the clarification, I'm definitely holding on to my ticket...and I got some good concert news to offset this disappointment today, King Crimson is touring again this fall...

To quote SymX's management when they sent me the info about BB King's: "we may add another city..not sure at this time". So it's all up in the air right now..if another show gets added, then it gets added..if not, then it doesn't..and if it does, where is another story.

I dont get all the bitching and whining from you NYC fans that would need to travel into Farmingdale to see them now. I had to drive an hour and 45 min every time to see them at Lamours so quit bitching and deal now that the shoe is on the other foot. :p

(however if the bitching is a result only because you couldnt make it to the farmingdale show because of work/school/etc or that you would have liked to have seen them twice then forget my rant).

its because even though say to Long Island from here is 70 miles.. It'll take 3 freakin hours to get there.. Its really not the easiest place to get to, Hell we're going to the CT show instead of LI

Consider those in Florida or Washington state (for example) who'd have to travel hundreds of miles through multiple states to catch a show..then it won't seem so bad to drive for a few hours.

Trans-siberian orchestra are playing the beacon theatre in NYC on 12/9. Kind of ironic that 2 of the only bands thatcombine Metal and classical were scheduled to play 30 city blocks from one another on the same night.

Yeah but... its Long Island ;)

I was originally going to go to the Farmingdale show, but when G3 was added on 11/11, it made it impossible to go to both on back to back nights. The 12/9 show made my decision a lot easier. Now I need to reevaluate the whole situation.

I also got home last night and there was a message on my answering machine saying that my credit card would be refunded for the tickets. If they were going to reschedule at BB King's, I don't think they would be so quick to give a refund, as they would probably honor any tickets purchased for 12/9. We'll have to wait and see.

Yeah, like me, driving 8 hours from Tucson to see the San Diego show last year, then finding out AFTER I GOT THERE that it was cancelled, then driving the 8 hours home about as depressed as can be...
I seriously couldn't listen to SX for a while after that because the memory was too painful. Same thing with Blind Guardian.

But hey, there's a show scheduled in Phoenix, so I guess I'm okay now.:)

And I'm going to see Helloween and Jag Panzer in a few days, so life is good!

And here I am complaining that I can ONLY see them once this tour
