BBE sonic maximizer.

Many guys on the Jackson/Charvel forum swear by that and a 5150, many also swear that the 5150 cab is the best cab for that amp. But again, each to their own.

I have a 362 in my rack. It was an e-bay impulse purchase with the idea that "if it sucks, I'll just re-sell it". It doesn't suck. It can be very useful for tweaking an already dialed in sound, and that's what I use it for mainly; fine tuning.

Very nice bit of kit that can make a dramatic difference to your sound. I haven't used it for recording yet though, just live work. So that still needs to be tested out.

^^ That's basically what I was trying to say in a roundabout, nice way, lol.

I'd not go that far while Jacob said he found it useful on some occasions...
But yes, in the wrong hands, it can be the devil.

I have three BBE 482's, I used to think they were the shit and well i guess you could say i was right kinda they are shit lol, Nothing i record now goes through em but my bassist uses one with his Ampeg rig. (dont ask me why)

I know a guy in a local band who uses a Crate Gt3500h with a BBE 362 in the loop. It sound's way over-processed and digital on it's own but it isn't too bad in the full band situation. Then again, the other guitarist usually just bums gear off other people at shows and almost always gets the worst possible setup from the opening bands so it sounds better by comparison.
