Been a bit frustrated with this one, this band did not track to a click. The performances have only been slightly edited.

The samples are home made off a kit I have here.

The guitars are natural. No pod farm. The guitar tone could use a bit of work in my opinion but other than that I am wanting critique on balance, energy and fullness. All criticisms are welcome.

Thank you in advance for your time!

[EDIT]
I think what I had on my master chain was squashing my snare from popping at its full potential...I changed it up.
I hope its still "loud enough". I also raised the volume of the bass guitar. What do ya'll think?

The snare is too clunky. Lacking highs. With a different one, everything would fit so well. The guitars actually work really well imo. I'd just lower them just a tad.

I've EQ'd that snare like crazy haha. The dude really loved his giant Vinnie Paul snare.

yah dude, guitars fit really well, add a bass though! and yah fix that snare, less lows more mids and highs bro

I agree, that snare is pretty nasty. Especially with such a clicky kick sound - doesn't really fit. Guitars sound good but is there a bass track? Seems to lack depth

Might be a lot to ask, but does anyone have a snare sample (or can recommend one) that would sit nice with this mix?
