Behind the Music

I like what they have done with the Crue,Anthrax,O$$Y, Metallica Hell the even made Rick Springfield seem interesting! and I like GNR I always have So it should be cool! ...... I personally thing GNR was one of the Best Rock and Roll bands ever :loco: but thats just me

I know what you mean about it being addicting, I even watched the damn Britney Spears one!!!! I happened to have caught part of it this morning, they ran it & saw the last 30 MIN of it. I better get a blank for that, it looked killer & very unbiased.
JD & Hawk should get a kick out of it when you see it.

I saw it this morning, not bad. Like abrasiverock said, the show is addictive, I too can watch any of them... and have... over and over and over...... :)

It suprised me that they didn't hype up the Use Your Illusion ere and basically showed those albums as the bloated, pretentious, self indulgent piles of crap that they truely were.

Here's my thought on it after watching it again this morning...
It should have been two hours long...
I mean even Aerosupply was given that. And even though, these guys were on top of the world for a period less than a decade, you need that much time just to get the story to unravel. I mean the was they made it sound was, that Slash & Duff left the band & then they got Velvet Revolver together... Slash has has three solo records & Duff has put three out as well... That's whack!
It was also a shame that there was no footage of Izzy or Axl...
Other bands that I feel deserve a special:
Van Halen-This would be great!
Black Sabbath-see above!
And if they've done one on Poison Why not?
Ratt & Dokken.
A Slayer Special would be great also, if they did one of Thrash "Lame Duck"
Anthrax, why on earth not them?! Hell, one on Testament, if they did one on
"Lame Duck," don't you think?!

Well, it appears that that was all Axl's doing as far , as the
:Puke: Illiusions...
They barely made half a record combined! I thought that then & I think that now...:erk:

Same here. To follow up Appetite for Destruction with those 2 albums was criminal! It's like they wanted to become Aerosmith. At least it took Aerosmith 10 or 15 years into their career to become bloated and irrelevant, where as GnR seemed to do it over night. :)

The best line in the show is from Matt Sorum when he says that he signed on to be in a rock and roll band, so what the hell was that piano doing on stage.

Once upon a time, i used to be a HUGE Behind The Music fan. My favorites include: Megadeth, Anthrax, The Cult, Judas Priest, Bad Company, Thin Lizzy, Run DMC, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Madonna,MC Hammer, Milli Vanilli, Vanilla Ice and The Mamas and The Papas. I know i'm missing a few others too.

Come on guys, the Illusions weren't THAT bad. Sure there's alot of crap on them but a lot of great songs as well. Spaghetti? , now that was a different pile of crap :Puke: :Puke:

Sorry but to me the Illusion albums were total crap.

I do agree with you on the Spaghetti album though, more crap.
